New legal requirements make retrofitting existing gas engines unavoidable in many cases.
Who is affected?
All operators of CHP Unit systems – regardless of the motor make.
What needs to be retrofitted?
A NOx sensor to determine the daily average values (NOx monitoring) and, if necessary, pressure and temperature sensors to monitor the oxidation catalytic converter.
When does the regulation apply?
Effective immediately – for new and existing systems in accordance with §4 / §16 BImSchG.
